Uttlesford District Council: drop-in advice session

Representatives from the Uttlesford District Council welfare team will join us at TouchPoint for a drop-in advice session.

They are able to advise residents with Housing Benefit queries, Council Tax queries, rent and council tax arrears, shortfall on Housing Benefit or Universal Credit and signposting for other assistance. They can also liaise between different departments at the council as well as housing associations and other agencies to best support residents.
The team can also offer assistance with completing claim forms for Housing Benefit and Local Council Tax Support and look at applications for additional help i.e Discretionary Housing Payments, Cost of Living Support Fund (for Council Tax ) and Exceptional Hardship Fund (also Council Tax ).
There is no need to book, just drop in between 11am and 3pm.
The community café will also be open.
