Welcome to TouchPoint
We are a community wellbeing project in Essex serving West Essex and East Herts. We are based at Crafton Green, Stansted Mountfitchet, next door to the library and the Crafton Green car park. We have a welcoming community café and garden. From our centre people are also able to access help and support from our partner organisations, join clubs and interest groups, and share their skills with others. We also run a Community Food Share project helping to reduce the amount of food going to waste and a NEW community radio station to further connect our community.
The TouchPoint Community Café
At the heart of our centre is the TouchPoint Community Café. Alongside this, we make full use of this wonderful community building to run regular activities including a breakfast club, teatime club for families, free weekend movies, community support groups and employment advice – to name but a few! – and would love to hear from local interest groups and clubs who would like to use us as their base. We are also lucky to have a wonderful community garden, which is cared for entirely by volunteers.
Coffee, tea and cake!
We are open every Thursday from 10am to 5pm and every Friday from 10am to 12pm serving hot drinks and snacks. We also serve hot meals on Thursdays between 12.30pm and 2.00pm. Whether you just fancy somewhere welcoming to catch up with friends over a cup of tea, or are seeking advice, would like to volunteer a skill, or have some ideas about what we should be doing, we would love to see you!
