What is the Community Food Share?

It’s all about reducing food waste! We collect produce which supermarkets would otherwise dispose of but is still perfectly good to eat, and distribute it in our community. This means less food going into landfill, so it’s a win-win!

Every item is free: the only thing you need to bring is a bag.

A big thank you to the local Co-op, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose stores, and other local producers, for supporting the project. We’ve had a great variety of produce on offer from vegetables to baked goods, and fruit to cut flowers.

To find out more please contact us. And if you would like to get involved, we would love to hear from you! Please email volunteer@thetouchpoint.org and we will get back to you.
