Every week, a small army of volunteers helps us collect and redistribute 8–10 tonnes of supermarket surplus across north west Essex. More than 400 households in our community choose to participate in one of our FoodShares every week — and that number keeps growing.
Keeping all of that moving is a significant logistical challenge, and we’re looking for someone brilliant to play a key role in the project.
The Role
Project Administrator – Community FoodShare
Part-time | 8 hours per week
This is a paid, part-time role on a fixed-term basis, to be reviewed in March 2027, based at TouchPoint HQ in Stansted Mountfitchet, with some time out in the community. It may suit someone working in a freelance capacity.
You’ll be the organisational backbone of one of Essex’s most impactful community food projects — supporting coordination, communications, and the day-to-day logistics that keep our FoodShare running smoothly.
You’ll Bring
- Experience in project administration or project management
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Strong communication skills
- A natural fit for collaborative, fast-moving team environments
