TouchPoint is delighted to announce the launch of the TouchPoint Kids Christmas Gifts Appeal 2024 on Friday 1st November.

Our 2023 Christmas Appeal was a huge success: we supported over 600 children and families in local villages and towns by distributing gift vouchers worth £25 each. This year we want to do even more!

Touchpoint is a registered charity, and we also work closely with partners including Uttlesford Foodbank, Mind in West Essex, Citizens Advice and Peabody Trust. We estimate that there are more than 3,000 children in our area in families who may struggle to afford the extra expense of Christmas. We want to reach as many of these as we possibly can, and ease some of the stress and anxiety than can come with the festive season when you are struggling to pay your bills.

**Our ambitious fundraising target for 2024 is £25,000**

This would mean we could help 1,000 children. The more money we raise, the more families we can support! The TouchPoint Kids Christmas Gifts Appeal is encouraging the local community to unite and make a difference. Everyone can play a part!

“I bought a big pack of fidget toys. I use them all the time. Getting my voucher meant that my mum didn’t have to save as much money as normal, we don’t have a lot of money.” (Child aged 9)
