Do you love radio?

Our exciting new community radio project is looking for people of all ages and backgrounds to join us – both behind the scenes and in front of the mic! – in building the station that amplifies local voices and fosters a stronger sense of community.
TouchPoint Sounds will be a new, dynamic community radio initiative set to make its debut in early 2024, offering both live broadcasts and on-demand content over the internet.
We are pleased to have received some funding from the UK Government Shared Prosperity Fund to help us launch TouchPoint live radio soon. The Fund is a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills. For more information, click here.
Our mission is to empower the residents of Uttlesford, enabling them to express their unique stories and passions, whether they revolve around music, local heritage, community activity, upcoming events, and much more. We will invite local community groups and organisations to create and broadcast their own programmes providing entertainment and information about valuable local services.

Would you like to get involved?
