Our new van is on the road and looking amazing!

Thank you to the UK Shared Prosperity Fund for providing the funding and also to Rich at Ravan Graphics in Takeley for making it look amazing!

This refrigerated van will help us rescue even more food for the TouchPoint Community Food Share.

We launched the Community Food Share just over a year ago and in that time we have redistributed the equivalent of more than *160,000* meals and are reaching over *1,500* people every week in our area. These numbers are incredible and are all thanks to our dedicated team of volunteers who will be using the van morning, noon and night to collect food and rescuing it from going to waste!

We now have regular food shares in Stansted, Saffron Walden and Elsenham, and have recently held pop-up shares in Birchanger and Takeley. Check the events page of the website for the most up to date information on the food share timetable. And give us a wave if you see us out and about in the van!
