Many people from all walks of life come along to the TouchPoint Community Food Shares in Stansted, Elsenham and Saffron Walden, helping to reduce the amount of food going to waste. A win for the environment as well as our wallets!

We love chatting to people at the food shares and hearing about what they are making with their rescued food. A fantastic story reached us this week about the impact the food share is having in our community.

A person has been coming along to the food share in Stansted since is started last year. Every week, they carefully work out how much money they have saved. They then donate this to one of our local Ukrainian families.

What a lovely act of community kindness! Everyone who uses the food share has their own story. If you haven’t come along to one yet, you can see upcoming dates and locations on our website here. Everyone is welcome!
