Are you aged 16-25, living in the East of England and not in full time education, employment or training? Interested in a career in game design? We’ve been told about a great new FREE programme Prince’s Trust is running in November called Get Started in Game Design.
This is a five-day programme delivered over Teams and Discord by the Trust, and their partners at Enemy of Boredom Esports Academy.
It is an entry level course so it’s best suited to individuals with an interest in gaming and game design but who currently don’t have any practical experience in this area.
Over the five days you will have the chance to design and build your own multi-level platform game and learn top tips from an experienced tutor at Enemy of Boredom. If you are interested, there is a taster day on Tuesday 23rd of November and the full programme runs the following week, from Monday 29th November to Friday 3rd December.
In addition to being aged between 16 and 25, and not in full-time education, employment, or training and living in the East of England, you need to have access to a laptop or desktop and be willing to download Microsoft Teams and Discord. If you think this will be difficult for you, but you would still like to take part, please do get in touch with us here and we will do our best to provide technical support.
