The TouchPoint Community Podcast is LIVE!
We are excited to announce that the first ever episode of the TouchPoint Community Podcast is now live.
This episode is the first of a new strand, History on our Doorstep. Siobhan Kirrane will be travelling to different sights, meeting fascinating people and exploring the stories behind some of the local landmarks you thought you knew.

In this first episode, Siobhan visits John Webb's Windmill in Thaxted, which is currently undergoing a major makeover. It is awe inspiring in both its scale and beauty, but what was it like to work in? Conditions were tougher than you might think. Siobhan is joined by Mark Rickards from the Thaxted Windmill Trust as they travel back through time. It’s a fascinating 20-minute listen!
You can listen to the episode on our website, or find it in the menu of the TouchPoint Radio app.
You can also find us on Spotify and Apple Podcasts! Just search “TouchPoint Community Podcast” - and subscribe to be notified when new episodes are available.
Our thanks to everyone for all their hard work - Siobhan, the wonderful team at TouchPoint Radio, and the dedicated people at Thaxted Windmill - in making this episode such a fantastic debut!
And if you listen, let us know what you think.
