Our purpose
We’re a volunteer-led charity dedicated to building local community connections and creating a strong sense of belonging. Through safe, welcoming spaces, we impact over 2,000 people each week—thanks to more than 200 incredible volunteers and a small team of part-time staff.
Working with local partners, we identify hidden needs, break down barriers, and provide vital community support. Our inclusive approach means everyone is treated equally and made to feel valued, heard, and at home.
Together, our aim is to touch every part of life, from reducing loneliness and improving wellbeing, to tackling food waste, closing the digital divide, and promoting community resilience.
Our aims
We listen to our community to help us better understand and respond to local needs, such as social isolation, mental health challenges, physical wellbeing, food insecurity, and financial stress. Our goal is to strengthen community connections and build long-term resilience.
We support and energise local communities. Find out more by visiting our Community Hub, Community FoodShare, and TouchPoint Active pages, and listen to your community radio station, TouchPoint Radio.
