Our 2025 Kids Christmas Appeal is now live!

TouchPoint is delighted to announce the launch of the TouchPoint Kids Christmas Gifts Appeal 2025.

This will be our third annual Christmas Appeal. Our 2024 Appeal was hugely successful. Thanks to generous donations from the public and local companies and organisations, we were able to support over 800 local children and families by distributing gift vouchers worth £25 each.

Many local families can struggle to afford the extra expense of Christmas. Working closely with partners including local schools, Mind in West Essex and Uttlesford Foodbank, we estimate that there are more than 3,000 children in our area for whom this appeal would make a huge difference. For parents and carers, it can ease some of the stress and anxiety than can come with the festive season when you are struggling to pay your bills.

Our ambitious fundraising target for 2025 is £15,000

Last year we exceeded our target, and we would love to do the same again!

I felt happy when the school gave me my voucher. I bought a big pack of fidget toys. I use them all the time. Getting my voucher meant that my mum didn’t have to save as much money as normal, we don’t have a lot of money. (Child aged 9)

Having a voucher from TouchPoint made a huge difference to my family, money is tight and it’s hard to save up but this was a really lovely gesture and one we were not expecting.  It added a bit of magic to our Christmas. Thank you. (Parent)
